Daddy hasn’t been updating this site as much as he should, so I had to get on him. Literally. I climbed onto his back, pulled his hair and let out a long ear-piercing scream until he promised to post something new. So here you go, folks, a lot of pictures taken during the past few months. On Saturday Mom and Dad had a big party for my first birthday, and we had a blast! Seeing as I was born on International Talk Like a Pirate Day, we hit the pirate theme pretty hard, me hearties. Avast and arrrrrr! Whatever that means. Anyway, I was so glad to see everyone and the cake was so good, especially the part I got to squish in my fingers. Can I have a birthday again tomorrow!?

Look at me! I can’t believe how fast I’m growing up. Life is so much fun sometimes, especially when I’ve got lots of toys around. Man, I sure do like toys. Ok, gotta run, I see a couple of things to look at over there!

Hello again, folks. I’m almost nine months old, can you believe it? I’m really starting to figure this whole thing out. I’ve got some teef, I can crawl, and I can stand up pretty darn good. I’m even talking up a storm, though nobody can really understand me yet (That’s ok because it’s way over their heads anyway). Here are a few pics of me with my grandmother and on a trip to the beach. Mommy and Daddy took me to Pensacola, Florida and I swam in the ocean for the first time! It was cold and loud at first so I cried but I eventually got used to it. Mommy bathed me in that gooey sunscreen stuff so no sunburn for me, thank goodness. I can’t wait to go back! The best part though was meeting my new cousins, Caroline and Alexander Paden, and Emma Gage. I really really can’t wait to play with them when I get older!

I has em! Daddy couldn’t get me to stay still long enough to get a good picture of my little chompers, but they’re here. Thank goodness all that teething is over with, at least for a while. Can I chew on your finger?
